The relevance for believers today is the reminder that through faith in Jesus, believers have access to spiritual and even physical healing. ![]() The immediate healing and strengthening of the man's feet and ankles demonstrate the miraculous power of faith and the name of Jesus. Peter, inspired by the power and authority of The Name of Jesus Christ, commands the man to walk. In these verses, we witness the remarkable transformation of the lame man. And at once his feet and ankles became strong and steady,” This passage challenges believers to engage with such individuals, paying attention and offering not only material assistance but also the message of hope found in Christ which leads to spiritual and also physical healing.Ħ “But Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have but what I do have I give to you: in the name (through the power and authority) of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” 7 Then he seized the man’s right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. The relevance for believers today is in recognizing that people often have expectations of the church and of Christians in terms of help and hope. He looks to Peter and John with anticipation.
